Hotel reservation
Reservations for hotels and guesthouses can be made through the electronic link to Graz Tourismus. In addition, paper registration forms will be provided with the second circular. Please make sure that you reserve in time, because Graz is very popular for tourists in summer and fall.
Many hotels are in walking distance to the conference location. Otherwise, you will be able to reach the conference location by bus, tram or taxi.

Travel by plane
Graz Airport is well connected to international flights via Vienna, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Düsseldorf and Zurich. Graz Airport is a small but modern regional airport. Perfect for finding your way around, short journey times, fast service and a pleasant atmosphere are the result of a whole series of improvements and upgrades that were carried out in recent years.
To reach the center of Graz from Graz Airport you have several choices. You can use the city bus which will take you to Graz central station or Jakominiplatz. The bus stop is located right in front of the passenger terminal.
Alternatively, you can reach Graz central station bytrain from Graz Airport-Feldkirchen station (about 300 meters walking distance).
The most convenient way to reach your hotel is by taxi (approximate fare 20 €). You can take a taxi at the airport 24 hours a day. The taxi rank is right in front of the passenger terminal. Driving time downtown is approx. 20 minutes.
If you wish to hire a car, companies are located in the adjacent building next to the indoor car park. You can proceed straight from the airport building to the car hire offices on a fully covered walkway.
Austrian Airlines (AUA) is appointed "Official Airline" to this conference and offers reduced air fare for delegates to Austria. Please contact your travel agent, present your registration and quote the reference number: CODE-ICBL2 to get access to these fares.

Travel by train
Graz is well connect to all European capitals by Inter City routes. To reach your hotel from Graz central station you will have to use the city bus, the tram or a taxi.
Travel by car
Graz can be reached by car via freeways A2 (Vienna-Italy) or A9 (Germany/Linz-Slovenia). To use Austrian freeways you have to pay toll in the form of a sticker that you can buy at the border. In Graz, parking space is very limited. Upon your hotel reservation make sure that there will be space for your car.
